Discussing Our Journey
We started this journey over 30 years ago in 1993. Over these years a series of projects and programs have been outlined and some of these have been adopted over time by various organisations, governments and venture capitalists over these years.
Setting up Collaborative Entanglement is to enable more individuals, groups and organisations to participate in these important projects, especially our 3 priority areas:
Less Carbon in the atmosphere
removing carbon through large scale cropping of Hemp and Bamboo with Traditional Owners and supported by universities
creating cash value carbon credits for trading and resource generation for Traditional Owners
supplying housing resource products built by communities (e.g. HempCrete panels for housing)
supporting infrastructure development for large scale manufacturing entirely within the Northern Territory as a start
reducing carbon emissions for agriculture and construction through better co-ordination of resources
using excess hemp produced into rolls with prepared nutrients and seedings for roll out over farm areas via electric winches across paddocks, reducing the use of heavy farm machinery and associated emissions through the entire life cycle of activities.
supplying ongoing HempCrete panels for low income housing and home based renovations to increase the occupancy capacity of existing households to ease housing availability crisis
making use of 100% of all crops produced, 100% of the time to ensure minimum pricing for farmers as well as increased prices while supporting local community access to fresher produce direct from local growers. Excess produce can also be sold to supermarket chains when the price is acceptable to the farmers
Aim to build supply chains to all communities so that fresh produce from local growers is no more than 2-5 days from harvesting in most circumstances
Generating ongoing electricity through combination of hydro / solar / wind / steam to be stored in battery farms as well as innovative repurposing
Major development throughout Northern Territory creating “Spine” for long term community and business development of manufacturing centres of excellence
connecting to Artesian Basin as stored hydro along Spine in Northern Territory as it is water constantly flowing
provide long term leases for minimal / peppercorn rents where businesses can be certain of land use (e.g. ongoing leases subject to requirements of interested parties) which enables confidence in infrastructure investment by those businesses for major manufacturing resources
support businesses with access to free / low cost electricity being generated to help attract / retain highly effective personnel resources
innovative strategies such as higher tax free thresholds for people / families who move to work in the Spine (e.g. $52,000pa Tax Free, then as structured by administration of the day) as a financial incentive to be involved
Local Energy Generation Systems (LEGS) small scale individual or community based projects for provision of power charging EV vehicles
Repurposing old fuel stations into recycling used cooking oils to run emergency generators in major storms or weather events
harvesting of former landfill sites for resources dedicated to local infrastructure and support
Trade and Hospitality training programs integrated into schools for students 13yo and up as options for those with the motivation, natural skills and abilities to work on National Projects and for registered businesses for project specific experiences
Supports all government Apprentice initiatives and have a consistently available consolidated pool of workers to support community funded initiatives, (e.g. schools, child care centres, aged care facilities) reducing substantial administration obstruction issues for major subcontractors engaged to complete projects
Reduces the anxiety for the apprentices and parents / guardians in terms of being certain they will be fully supported throughout their learning programs for their entire apprenticeship
increases the employment opportunities for all students, including working overseas when travelling potentially, as well as a greater pool of workers available for local construction businesses

TESTIMONIAL
We first met John in 2022 when he was the Lead Auditor for our initial ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification.
At the time, we were working with a system that looked good on paper but didn’t truly reflect how our business operated or how our business met the ISO requirements in practice.
Impressed with John’s proactive, sensible approach and knowledge depth, we invited him and his team to help us develop a management system that genuinely aligned with our day-to-day operations, ensuring that our existing focus on safety, the environment and quality was properly reflected within the ISO framework.
The revised system is reflective of our specific approach and is a true operating system. The success of the system was reflected in our recent re-certification process, which we passed with no non-conformances or corrective actions — a clean audit outcome.
Throughout the process, John and his team have provided invaluable advice and support, as well as assistance with mandatory elements such as internal audits and management reviews. We felt supported by him and his team, and we would not hesitate to recommend his services.
